Are Personal Training Sessions customized to my personal needs?

Yes, prior to meeting, you will fill out a questionnaire in which you will answer questions about your wants, needs, goals and contraindications to exercise. At the first session, Trainer and Client will get to know each other more for a better idea of a program that is right for you.

Why is it important to work with an Aging Adult Personal Trainer?

Having a professional hold you accountable for your health and wellness has shown to increase results and overall progress towards a goal.

With in-depth knowledge about chronic conditions, safe and effective exercise techniques, and skills to help clients achieve goals, a personal trainer may be the missing piece in an individual’s fitness journey. Coming up with fitness plans to safely and effectively push the client in the proper manner to achieve a better outcome aids in the process of a client’s fitness journey.

How frequently are the Personal Training sessions held?

The frequency of sessions will be discussed between Trainer and Client prior to the beginning of training. The sessions are one hour long, and it is suggested to take place two times per week based on availability and preference.

Where are training sessions held?

Right at your home! Sage Wellness has exercise equipment and plenty of body weight exercises to provide the best experience from the comfort of your own home.

How do I pay Sage Wellness?

The preferred method: Zelle. We also accept checks made out to “Sage Wellness, LLC”.

What happens in the event of an emergency?

While our Trainers are CPR/First Aid and AED Certified, they are not medical professionals. In the event of an emergency, the emergency contact (filled out in a sheet prior to the beginning of sessions) will be contacted. If medical assistance is deemed necessary, emergency services will be contacted.

What is the onboarding process for new clients?

Once the Coach and Client have discussed availability, frequency and pricing, the following forms will be filled out:

A Personal Training Intake Form:

  • PAR-Q: Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire
  • Daily Activities and Physical Activity
  • Medical History and Conditions
  • Client Goals

A Waiver:

  • Informed Consent: Physical Condition, Medical History, Safety, Indemnification.
  • Relationship Agreement: Payment, Cancellation Policy, Timing, Outcomes.
