My journey in Preventative Care comes from a personal connection to injury. I obtained several injuries over a relatively short period of time, which led to difficulties in many areas of my life. I no longer could do many activities with such ease, many of which would cause quite a bit of pain, impacting my mood, as well as willingness to participate in any activity that I did not have to. These struggles led me to a realization about the importance of proper training in exercise. Because of this experience, I knew that I wanted to help others prevent injuries through proper movement, and safe and effective exercise. Motivating and helping others has been something that I have always done, and look forward to continuing to do throughout my career.
